MRA Business Solutions sponsored a Battle Business Networking Event on Monday, 11 October 2021 for Battle Business Owners.

The event was held in the joint offices of Mike Robertson Associates (MRA) Financial Planners and the business consultancy firm of MRA Business Solutions. The event began around 5:30 and finished around 8:30.

Local Business Owners were invited to introduce themselves to each other and explain what they did and where they were located. Numerous introductions were made and helpful connections were fostered throughout the night.

The theme of the event was how local businesses could help each other in a positive way.

Many excellent ideas came about from the evening including promoting each other with TripAdvisor reviews and Google reviews whenever we visited each others' establishments.

Businesses committed to using each other more to build on the renewed sense of community.

Finally, while local business owners recognised the importance of tourism to the town and the local businesses, they could not stress enough the importance of the townsfolk to the success of the High Street and all the local businesses of the area.

MRA Business Solutions and Mike Robertson Associates are committed to building on the success of last night's event to bring about monthly business owner events. Several of the business owners also pledged their support for continuing and building upon the start of a positive, informal and cooperative business network.

We look forward to hosting our next Battle Busines Owners Networking Event on Monday, 15th of November.
